The New Gobi Altai is a family company based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The founder of the company came from Gobi Altai – Western Mongolia – one of the most isolated province of Mongolia. Mr. Myagmardorj, once who was a tour guide, dedicated himself and his company for developing and contributing to the region through tourism. Thus, he named his company as “New Gobi Altai”, since the province of Gobi Altai was not in the travel routes of any other tour companies in Mongolia. Today our network of not only ger camps and hotels but also the network of nomadic families have been expanded, reaching to every province of Mongolia.
We are dedicated to contribute to the sustainable development of the locals, wildlife habitats and the ecosystem. We work with local nomadic families and local suppliers. Substantial contributions have been made to the locals and their environment. We are totally proud that we have planted more than 100 trees in various parts of Mongolia since our establishment in 2013.
